00:00:00 This video is for stake presidents who want to delegate authority in the service missionary management system or SMMS. Go into servicemissionary.churchofjesecryse.org and log in and then click on related systems and then on unit user management. Then you will get a list of people that you can delegate authority to and you can delegate a certain type of authority.

00:00:30 either they can be support or they can be delegated approver and then you can also check the boxes

00:00:36 to indicate that they should receive notifications. As you scroll down you'll see others you can

00:00:41 delegate to when you get to the high counselor this applies to all high counselors. So if you

00:00:47 happen to check the received notifications box on the high counselor line the all high counselors

00:00:53 will get those notifications. Now if you want to add a single high counselor or any other

00:00:59 individual to your user list, you can go to related systems and click on users.

00:01:07 When you click on users, you're going to see an add user button and you're going to click

00:01:13 on that.

00:01:14 Then you're going to type in the user's username that they use to log into church with JesusChrist.org.

00:01:22 It is case sensitive.

00:01:23 their email address won't work, their name won't work, it has to be the

00:01:28 user name for their church account. The system will search for the name and

00:01:34 then it'll eventually pop up here if it's a valid user name and when it does

00:01:38 you're going to click next. The final step is to add responsibilities, the

00:01:44 organizational group and your actual stake should be predated and filled in for

00:01:49 you so steps one and two won't apply, what you need to do is decide which role they're

00:01:55 going to play. Most people are going to do an approver because they can actually approve

00:02:00 assignments for you. The person with support has view only access and the signer can assign

00:02:08 certain things but that's very minimal. But most people are going to give them view only

00:02:14 or they're going to give them a approval status. Once you've designated the role,

00:02:19 then go back to the top of the page, click on related systems, click on unit

00:02:24 user management, and then when you get into that page, just make sure your

00:02:29 notification setting is appropriate for this new user. And that's the end of this

00:02:34 video.
