The Senior Missionary Coordinators:
- Facilitate mission calls for senior Church members who wish to serve as Senior Missionaries (full-time, living away from home) or as Senior Service Missionaries (part-time, living at home).
- Facilitate extensions, releases, and a positive experience for Senior Service Missionaries.
- Assist Operation Managers develop an effective workforce for Church Operations, such as Addiction Recovery Services, Mission Offices, Deseret Industries, the Bishops' Storehouse, FamilySearch, BYU-Pathway, Temple Offices, etc.
- Help stake and ward leaders carry out operation assignments and understand service missionary responsibilities.
- Act as Ambassadors for the Senior Missionary program.
