- Facilitate mission calls for senior members who wish to serve full-time away from home or part-time while living at home.
- Support extensions, releases, and a positive experience for senior service missionaries.
- Help Church operations develop an effective missionary workforce for assignments such as FamilySearch, BYU–Pathway, bishops’ storehouses, mission offices, and temples.
- Help stake and ward leaders understand operation assignments and senior service missionary responsibilities.
- Serve as ambassadors for senior missionary service.
